2025 Ensemble Makadam
In this essay concert, Frederic Chopin’s piano works and Elin Wägner’s writing meet in an attempt to understand how the threads of time bind together different destinies and experiences. Ensemble Makadam collaborates this time with the author Magnus Haglund and lets two of Elin Wägner’s late books 1000 är i Småland from 1939 and Väckarklocka from 1941 collide with the experiences of war and social unrest during early capitalism that are expressed in Chopin’s music.
