2019. Ensemble Dråpera is a loosely composed opera company consisting of composer Lina Järnegard, mezzo soprano Anna-Sara Åberg, pianist Sara Sjödahl and percussionist Ebba Westerberg. The ensemble works process based and explores the theme, methods and modes of expression through the different approaches of the group members. Ensemble Dråpera makes musical drama in the borders of performance and instrumental theater. They explore the art of opera freely in relation to the genre’s norms and hierarchies in order to deepen the interaction between music, action and text.
