2016. A duet and a duel with a pianist at the grand piano and a dancer in black baroque dress.
A meeting between the instrumentalist and the dancer as well as the instrument and the body. A performance that, with love, warmth, humor, precision and drama, takes on Ludwig van Beethoven’s famous piano sonat # 17 in D minor also called the Ghost Sonate. The play gives free space for the participants to explore the different moods that Beethoven’s music embodies. Bronja continues her investigation of the figure Shadow, now in a distinctly female form. Sara takes on the sonata with new tools such as improvisation, preparations and live electronics.
